A Birder's Notes
A birder's notes focuses around a personal experience of being a lifelong birdwatcher and shows how birdwatching can be an escape from urban commotion which allows people to depart and slow down from daily life. This project with the title; A Birder’s Notes features a group of prints in colour, two notebooks containing personal documented sightings of birds and other wildlife from as early as 2012 and a self recorded audio soundtrack of bird song. It has a tranquil atmosphere which reflects the idea of unwinding and shows a connection to the experience of birding rather than the bird itself but also raises awareness of the importance of nature in our lives.
