Carlos Hawthorn

These are part of an experimental project which is on going. This project looks at documenting the non-event and how it takes up 90% of our lives but many take it for granted. The images focus on the mundane everyday. These are all created by placing a sheet of dark room paper into a film camera and then leaving the paper to expose. The camera I used was an old folding camera called the Soho Altrex originally manufactured in the 1930s.
